MEET OUR TEAM
We help your community stay stable, transparent, and future-ready.
Our Story
SPICE (Sustainable, Proactive & Innovation for Community Excellence) was founded in 2011 with a vision to provide housing co-operatives across British Columbia with professional, customized management services that strengthen communities and support long-term sustainability.
We understand that every housing co-operative is unique. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all approach, we work closely with each board to develop service solutions tailored to their goals, priorities, and community needs. Our philosophy is simple: the board governs, and SPICE manages.
Our team provides a full range of services, including property management, financial management, maintenance coordination, capital planning, governance support, project management, grant writing, and community engagement. By combining operational expertise with strategic planning, we help housing co-operatives protect their assets, improve efficiency, and plan confidently for the future.
At SPICE, every client is supported by our entire team. This collaborative approach allows us to deliver responsive service, practical solutions, and the collective knowledge of professionals with diverse experience in housing co-operatives.
We believe that transparency, partnership, and respect are the foundation of successful communities. Our mission is to leave boards and members feeling cared for, empowered, and free to focus on building strong, connected, and thriving housing co-operative communities.
A Comprehensive Team
We believe that smaller teams build stronger relationships. Our close-knit team structure allows us to respond quickly, collaborate effectively, and provide personalized support tailored to each co-op's unique circumstances.
By remaining intentionally small and specialized, we can spend less time navigating internal processes and more time focusing on what matters most—helping boards build resilient, thriving communities.
